Drummer boy, Roland Walter Lines aged 15.
Roland Walter Lines Guardsman aged 15 as a Drummer boy. He died 19th May 1940 aged 20 years whilst serving in the Grenadier Guards. Roland was the son of Edgar and Ruby Lines. Edgar was a surveyor and the family lived in White House Queen Street.

Four German airmen were captured and held prisoners at Stradbroke police station 1942 - WW2. The cell book records that time. The cell book which opened in 1886 was found in a Stradbroke loft many years after the war.
