Inscription on The Fox Family Tomb
Description
The Fox family tomb is the large green tomb on the west side of All Saints church listed number 7. The tomb can be seen when walking along Queen Street. The inscription shows that Simon Fox jnr. was a well travelled intelligent man and that Nathaniel Fox was a wealthy charitable man.
The reference to Greshams refers to Gresham’s School (Holt, Norfolk).
